L-B somehow if i set the camera button i simply cant use the camera button anymore for taking pictures

no sorry i set other functions for single press of camera anyway (i have it set to open the apps4flip launcher on single press) as i dont plan on taking any pictures with this phone and if i do need to i can get to the camera from the menu

chaimontherun You have to ask someone that paid for the program for you to know if the info that's avlb is the same as the one on the site.

Has same problem as many other people. Deleted voice access completely, but the phone still announces all incoming calls. I went to accessibility settings (LG Classic) and turned "Readout" on, and then off again and that worked, but as soon as I did that the Apps4Flip cursor lost all accessibility permissions. Something seems to be intertwined with the application using the accessibility hack (apparently through readout), it also enables some components of the readout feature...

I think there are instructions for uninstalling readout somewhere else on this blog but i'm afraid to try

L-B Run a cmd list command and see if anything of the like comes up and try installing it.

I seem to have found it (after uninstalling some other stuff which didn't accomplish anything and which I truly hope I wont regret)
the package is com.lge.tts.sfplus
if you uninstall via pm uninstall -k --user 0 it no longer announces. I take NO ACHRAYUS

L-B Not that much to regret other than having to wipe and restart and kill an hour resetting the phone with all your apps.

Hey all. An update has been pushed by @BoruchAdler to the cursor app. It now contains a way to disable scroll mode, a new way to enable the permission it needs without adb on non lg phones, and other improvements. We were unable to test it or review, but feel free to download it from the main site and post your feedback here.

Apps4Flip-Admin Thanks for the update. So I would assume it won't go into enter select mode being that there's no scroll mode.

L-B That would explain why I never had the issue with the XP3. Btw when testing these stuff you can try adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 and then if anything goes wrong you can reenable

if you are so good with the commands maybe now try to figure out how to remove voice access and mouse from staying all the time in the notifications
im sure there is a way to do it thru the adb commands

The scroll mode is now a toggle, so if it is disabled then it should not go into the enter mode

No sorry I'm not that good i just googled it and found that the reading out is called tts (text to speech) and then i searched the phone for a package that had tts in it and tried it. Someone who really knows their stuff has to work on the notification annoyance

most pages u need to scroll and in mouse mode u cant scroll

leiby voice access you can turn off the notification with the settings app from here xxdeafgirl but the mouse you cant because its a system notification not the app

mg5077 by the sonim it works by going to apps and notifications, show system and turning notifications off for android system and back on. Is there such a thing in that settings app?

I know how to disable permanent notifications on phones (ex. the weather "widget" ), but the problem with specifically the voice access and mouse apps, is that they don't display their own permanent notification through their own package (because it isn't them, it's the system notifying you that someone is using special privelages), rather it's through the "system notifications". So I can tell you how to disable those, but then notifications like charging, usb debugging, file transfer, low battery, possibly bluetooth files, and other system notifications will also be disabled. Soooooo...

Once you have an ADB Shell run cmd appops set android POST_NOTIFICATION ignore

yteps on my phone (XP3) for the mouse it worked to turn off system notifications, and when I turned it back on it stayed off, so maybe people can try your way to turn off system notifications and then turn it back on and see what happens. Also for voice access turning off notifications for voice access worked

abe On the sonim xp3 you can go to settings apps and notifications, and in the notification settings when you see all the apps press the option key (top left) and press show system, then you'll see Android system on the list

L-B is your voice access still working properly after doing this command?

im not sure its related to this but my voice access started to maker problems since yesterday
like when im trying to type messages with it suddenly it will number everything in messages
also it will only listen for what i say the first time then once its typed even the 3 dots are still on top it will not listen anymore to what i say, sometimes it will pop up on top please update your google

I just tried on my wifes phone which I didnt run the command on and its exactly the same as mine as far as numbering the stuff on the screen in messaging
