Apps4Flip-Admin the scroll mode is not working. When scrolling it presses button itself
Universal Mouse Cursor for the LG Classic
For all those seeing this thread, the app is now available for free on our apps page - www.apps4flip.com/apps
As @LGexalt wrote on GitHub https://github.com/virresh/matvt/issues/3#issuecomment-811349729
"Thanks to all those who contributed to make this happen.
I'd just like to raise 2 points.
1 the cursor doesn't work in some apps. For example Waze and Uber. At first I thought it's because those apps that I was using already had a cursor added. So I tried it on a different version of Waze, which didn't have an added cursor, and it still wouldn't click on anything.
2 Once I ran the adb commands, the dedicated key to turn on voice access didn't work anymore. This may be an issue with the phone (LG Exalt). Because I had a similar issue when using button mapper. Once a enabled button mapper, I couldn't set a key for voice access.
If anyone knows of a way of fixing these issues, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks"

I dont know why it doesnt work for you but the cursor works in waze for me (LG classic)
use this command to enable the mouse and voice access at the same time (it adds the service for voice command after a colon. you can add the service for button mapper after an additional colon and have all three working at the same time as it is on my phone!)
adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services com.android.cts.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess/com.google.android.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess.JustSpeakService:com.android.cts.appsflipcursor/com.android.cts.appsflipcursor.services.MouseEventService
lgexalter1 I found that scrolling up scrolls down. See if that works for you.
L-B I did that. If you'll read the post carefully, you'll see that the problem is that I can't set a dedicated key; e.g. the camera key, to start the voice access.
lgexalter1 yes, on the lg ealt.
why do you need the cursor in scroll mode?
Jumptoheaven
Oy. I did see that but I assumed that it was really not working at all and maybe somehow you didn't realize. My bad. In any case it seems these problems don't apply to the LG classic
lgexalter1 yes I'm referring to the exalt.
I think they couldn't make the cursor scrollable. Hence the scroll mode without the cursor. Otherwise they would've just made a scrollable cursor.
BoruchAdler Thanks for the amazing mouse app, and we don't forget about the android auto...
Can someone please post all the commands to enable the Mouse, Voice Access and Button mapper at the same time?
Please include ALL the commands needed from begining to end.
Thanks
I got this error by starting the service
Error: Requires permission not exported from uid 10170
any help?
mg5077 from my experience: do the adb commands again and it should work even if you'll get the same error. I installed it a few times already, and each time I installed it i had the same thing.
Can someone please post all the commands to enable the Mouse, Voice Access and Button mapper at the same time?
Please include ALL the commands needed from begining to end.
Thank
just downloaded! Thanks @boruch

L-B how about the commands the mouse and Button mapper should work togethr?
can you post it please?
it would be a real help
i noticed that since i installed the mouse cursor my phone will announce loud all incoming calls anybody else with this problem?
any way to turn it off?
abe that is from the voice access. the only solution is to lower media volume to zero. but you need media volume on for Waze so you just have to remember to turn it down after...
L-B i dont have voice access installed
only t he mouse curser but it still announces all incoming calls
does it make sense even without voice access?
abe this is for all three services together (voice access button mapper and mouse)
adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services com.android.cts.flar2.homebutton/a.i:com.android.cts.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess/com.google.android.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess.JustSpeakService:com.android.cts.appsflipcursor/com.android.cts.appsflipcursor.services.MouseEventService
adb shell settings put secure accessibility_enabled 1
abe
wow. are you absolutely sure? did you follow some type of instructions for enabling voice access without realizing? I never heard of this except in association with voice access but who knows maybe mouse also causes the same thing
abe
here it is for just button mapper and mouse
adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services com.android.cts.flar2.homebutton/a.i:com.android.cts.appsflipcursor/com.android.cts.appsflipcursor.services.MouseEventService
adb shell settings put secure accessibility_enabled 1
L-B do u have the commands just for button mapper and the mouse WITHOUT voice access?
Thanks much
abe
here it is for just button access and mouse
adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services com.android.cts.flar2.homebutton/a.i:com.android.cts.appsflipcursor/com.android.cts.appsflipcursor.services.MouseEventService
adb shell settings put secure accessibility_enabled 1
L-B yep i only have mouse installed on my phone i followed the commands for the mouse thats on the apps4flips main website and its still announcing incoming calls which is very very annoying,
maybe they have in there commands anything from voice access included? is it possible?
do u have commands that iis just for the mouse that i can try? i hope i can get this fixed as i love the mouse but the incoming calls is very annoying
no if you just followed their instructions for mouse then I'm afraid you have discovered that mouse has this same problem. did you previously have just button mapper installed?
abe
well I made my peace with it because I have always had voice access which has this problem. Voice access is really great for voice to text when sending texts you gotta try it. Its a game changer. BTW you can setup a button with button mapper to toggle media volume to mute (I use long press of speakerphone key)
someday someone will figure out what is making these announcements and give us a fix for it...
L-B didnt know that, is voice to text really good for texting? not mixing up words and so?
how about words that is not in the dictionary like yiddish words or names?
it can do ""boruch hashem"" and ""daven with a minyan"" but obviously not everything. it gets words from their context. BTW it needs internet to work. check it out.
also you can open apps just by saying the app name
L-B Thanks! will try it out
since we have a mouse working for what purpose do you still use button mapper? where can it be helpful?
abe
i have a few things programmed with button mapper
a go to home key so i can check messages and such during a call
toggle media volume
toggle wifi
L-B btw i just installed voice access its wrking pretty amazing for text
is there any way to get it off the notifications or it will stay stuck there just like the mouse?
abe Never tried a button with the button mapper. But you can download the app and set it to a contact and or make a 2nd call and close and open the phone.
abe
with button mapper just map a button (I did long press camera) for that function it is under the "actions" tab
