Is there an easier way to save all my notes that were saved into my device on my lg exalt? Or manually send it as a text to someone and then send it back and re-save?
Any backup apps. Or save to a computer? What's my best options?
Need to wipe my device.

Myi No clue, sorry. If you have a computer maybe try helium (i can mod if you need).
Its possible adb Backup works also.
Myi Color note is a good notepad app that backs up to the cloud and syncs with your other devices, it definitely would help in the future, but im not sure it would help you easily back up all your current notes on your regular notepad.
Does anyone know where on the phone these notes are saved? They are probably all in txt files somewhere in the phones directory, no?
lgexalter1 if you use adb backup just on that app it will probably backup the notes
Trying to do exactly this. What app are you referring to?
Note that this can NOT be done on app.webadb.com you will need do download the platform tools.
Step 1 plug your phone into your computer and connect with adb
Step 2 run the following cmd. adb backup com.lge.notepad
Step 3 you will now be prompted to enter a code. (You do not need to enter a code but you may.)
Step 4 click on backup/restore my data
Your file will now be backed up in your platform tool folder named "backup.ab"
To restore it you run adb restore backup.ab
and it will again promt you with a code. whatever you did in step 3 thats what you should do here.
(There's a easier method by just Bluetoothing it to another exalt. or email)

Btw that doesn't help, just tried it, all it does is saves it in the download folder. but not saved in my notepad nor can i edit it. just saved basically for future reference. Unless there's a way to import to the notepad all my saved notes?
lazertech Thanks a ton, worked like a champ. Though i couldn't get the platform tools to open the cdm while in the folder, so had to add the file location to my system profile under path and ect.. like you can see here, though i didn't make a new folder android.

And ran the cdm from my computer which now had abd and pulled the file and then restored it. as well to locate the folder/file i just searched backup.ab and found one file. so i would need to erase it or rename it so i dont have all the files backing up when i do a backup, unless it will give it new name each time i back up a phone?
or if i can figure how to keep all my backups in one location in one folder. Thanks again.

Myi i want to unpack a backup file and im trying to use the tool provided however im not sure where to even start with the tool provided
yerushivish so to make sure I'm on the same page. You already did the backup and now want to reinstall the backup package to the phone ? Or do you want to save the notes onto your computer(meaning back up your notes?)
Myi already did backup but the phone i was transferring to was a kycera extreme which didnt let me select the "allow restore" button (even with the apps4flip mouse, it just wouldnt respond to the selection) so i wanted to extract the file on my pc... ended up figuring it out. I didn't have JAVA installed so thats why it wasnt working
yerushivish Gotchya. Though Scrapy would have worked to use your screen on your computer. But don't think you'd be able to run the cmd and the Web.ABD at the same time.
