I was surprised when I saw this. Look up Lg folder 2. Its Lg classic for other countries. Their starting prices were about $150 usd (in their own currency). We got a great deal! Why am I sharing this? No real reason, just think it's fascinating that this phone was in so many other countries.

Biden2020prez Thats how it works with Tracfone. They buy (somewhat) exclusive rights to the phone in US market and subsidize it, but keep you locked in to their service. Thats why they are so tough on their unlocking policy. They would actually lose money on the device if you didn't use their service.

Biden2020prez You also have to compare prices of a year ago when it was cheaper here, it could've also been cheaper there. Now $150 is around the going rate here for unlocked.

Lev26 I couldn't find it in any online stores, but a bunch of phone specs websites which had the price. I assme that's MSRP, but I not sure.

Flippy yeah, but theoretically you can get tracfone 3 months for $20 (now that unlock takes only two months...).
