lg exalt
thanx!
voice access....again
MXRJR 1) It does.
2) You need wifi or data only when you are using it, but not during the installation and commands process.
my mouse is disabled after getting it to work...help
and i need to assign a button to activate voice access....this will be amazing for many people if this can all work out......help lol
MXRJR This issue has been addressed before. Search around the forum: https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=77388d2676b557446
Just make sure your mouse version matches:
1) For apps4flip cursor:
adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services com.android.cts.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess/com.google.android.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess.JustSpeakService:com.android.cts.appsflipcursor/com.android.cts.appsflipcursor.services.MouseEventService
2) For Virresh's KCOmouse:
adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services com.android.cts.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess/com.google.android.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess.JustSpeakService:com.android.cts.virresh.kcomouse/com.android.cts.virresh.kcomouse.services.MouseEventService
3) For Virresh's Matvt:
adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services com.android.cts.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess/com.google.android.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess.JustSpeakService:com.android.cts.io.github.virresh.matvt/com.android.cts.io.github.virresh.matvt.services.MouseEventService
Then do:
adb shell settings put secure accessibility_enabled 1
(It adds the service for the mouse after a colon).
MXRJR You can set the voice access button using voice access settings itself, just turn on voice access and say "voice access settings". Make sure to exit the button setting window by saying the number on the screen, after pressing the button to set it.
Lev26 wow that wrked perfect....now i can talk to text just by holding the mic button which i assigned by turning on voice access first like u said......this is good info ppl can use this
Lev26 Thank you. It was addressed before but never put out as clearly with commands for all versions! Appreciate it.
Now, one more thing:
Virresh's KCOmouse VS Virresh's Matvt?
is there a way to get rid of the voice access notification? i cant figure out why the command that was posted in one of the discussions isnt working
Lev26 Those are talking about Improvements over the apps4flip mouse.... what about the KCO vs Matvt? And which is newer? And do they all work on all phones?
Flippy Ok here is what my research has shown:
KCO is newer (v1.0.6 VS v1.0.3) and better (allows you to detect and map key in app)
KCO works on most phones, does NOT work on LG Exalt.
anybody know why its not working to set a button for voice access on the exalt?
i do all the instructions posted above and it just doesnt actually go to the button that i set it to
So what does it show by the activation button?
nothing, i set it to the speaker button and it says "speakerphone only available for calling"like it usually does when i try it
Flippy yes, all keys that i try it with just do their regular functions and it doesnt work with the button mapper either
i even downloaded a newer version and it still wont work
Nhaaps I don't think that this was ever finalized in any forum but the webadb command to get rid of the voice access notification is: apopps set com.android.cts.accessibility.voiceaccess POST_NOTIFICATION IGNORE and then restart your phone (package name may be different depending on the version of voice access that you have)
Nhaaps On the LG Classic, if u do that, you won't be able to get in to the voice access settings.
i recently put voice access on 2 lg exalts, and after a few days both people told me that their phone was doing a buzzing and beeping in the middle of a phone call....this happened to both of them in the same home...any ideas?
i was thinking maybe the house has some interference but could it be related to the voice accss app?
MXRJR i had a similar issue with my exalt that for a few minutes after i used voice access, it would randomly beep and vibrate but then i installed a newer version and it doesnt happen anymore but that might b because the newer versin had an option to shut the sound that it makes when u use it
i dont know how to upload stuff so tell me how or if u have telegram look there
Nhaaps try using
https://easyupload.io/
easy: just drag the file and then send the link
Nhaaps this command did not remove notification for me...im not sure what package name my version is....i downloaded the app from apps4flip site
Nhaaps i found the package name it was com.android.cts.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess
BUT the command apopps not working....
this is what i get:
/system/bin/sh: apopps: not found
i wrote the command with the word ignore in caps even though it doesnt have to be so maybe thats the issue otherwise just ignore it and restart your phone and see what happens
apopps set com.android.cts.accessibility.voiceaccess POST_NOTIFICATION ignore
the link didnt copy
Nhaaps still didnt work
im using adb on windows and im writing:
./adb shell apopps set com.android.cts.apps.accessibility.voiceaccess POST_NOTIFICATION ignore
and im getting:
/system/bin/sh: apopps: not found
MXRJR i think so but not sure but maybe use web adb thats what i used or ignore and just restart phone
ok so basicly it seems that if u want to use the mouse and voice access at the same time u will lose the ability to have the voice access mapped to a button.....unless someone here has an answer to this
its either:
mouse + voice access = no mapped button for voice access
OR
voice access - mouse = yes mapped button for voice access
PICK YOUR PROBLEM LOL
