Flippy I just heard recently from a very reliable source that the platforms used to send out text has skyrocketed in price causing them to have to shut down

samtee

chatGPT via text

to setup txt in a question and it will send you a verification code in a separate thread which you should send back to chatgpt and it will work
you only have to do this the first time

MXRJR

MXRJR This basically puts an end to fruber, and all the other services that did this as a third party.

Biden2020prez

MXRJR Well, we'll see. you can never get your hopes up too much with Uber. We'll see if this is any better than Uber customer no-service.

Reifam

samtee Is this the same thing as ChatGPT, it calls itself "Edgi Learning"? When I checked out their website I found out that there are two numbers associated with the same bot. Is there a difference? It also didn't ask me to confirm my phone number. 🤔🤔🤔

Biden2020prez

Reifam Yeah didn't ask me to confirm either.

Probably it uses API's from open AI, but I'm not sure. The problem with all the Chat GPT clients I've tried is that they can't hold a conversation. But there is a really good one

Biden2020prez but there's no number that you can text it

Flippy

Reifam I asked it and it said its based on chatgpt 3.5

Biden2020prez Better than chatgpt direct?

Biden2020prez

Hiii correct. I was just mentioning stam.

Flippy I think it's better, sometimes ChatGPT gets too slow. Also, this has no limit. And it's less laggy, loads quick. I thought it was missing features like copy code button, but I realized it's there, just in chinese. Also doesn't require any sort of account, although chances are they take more personal info than openai 🙂

Biden2020prez

Reifam chinese in the top right of the code block 🙂

Biden2020prez

Reifam no. look carefully at the conversation. it really doesn't have anything to do with text, it was me going off topic

Biden2020prez Probably it uses API's from open AI, but I'm not sure. The problem with all the Chat GPT clients I've tried is that they can't hold a conversation. But there is a really good one

GOLDFISH How do Kosher Mail and the weather apps work?

can some one make all these numbers into contact cards for easy download.

Atusb

New Kosher news via text.
Text @frume to 81010

ChatGpt directed for frum people 732-517-3684

samtee
They started charging $5/month for sms

Reifam

Yms I think it still needs some work

Reifam It just came out. Give it some time so they can work on it

Atusb

Does anyone know of a text/message plus group for lakewood news, hock, and buffs?

Does @frume still work or is just my phone??

Flippy

Hiii Looks like it stopped on Thursday...

Okay so it's not only me at first I thought that there was something wrong with my phone

Does any one know about any sms for latest news??

Biden2020prez

shimmykups It uses twillio and costs money. I once made my own perosnal groupme bot in python. thats a solution but each person needs to set up his own

samtee

samtee it doesn't need a pointer

What's with all these text news they all stopped working does anyone know of any working ones or what's up with them

Biden2020prez

Hiii I have no clue. Probably the provider (which all of them used) raised the price.

Atusb

Biden2020prez Yes I heard from very reliable source from one of the major news companies that it got crazy expensive.
Also seems like all these remind groups shut down too.....🙁

So why can't somebody make a group me chat but mute everybody to send out the latest news or something like that

Biden2020prez

Flippy Yes that would be possible through Groupme's API. but it requires a server for a Groupme webapp, and also a grouome bot and some complex setup.

Yes dan deals does something like that

Is there any other way to send out the news
