Just heard about a new kosher phone that came out with pre installed kosher apps
anybody tried it already out?

New FIG Kosher Phone
I have used the non kosher version. The physical keyboard integration is not that good. Found it similar to the CAT flip phone.
Xiaomi Qin F21 Pro.
Now there is already an Pro+ model!
Btw i heard from people that are very happy with the phone.
Does the phone work with Verizon?
chaimzalman somewhat. Not officially approved but seems to work if Verizon doesn't kick it off... MVNOs work okay..
Flippy Price?
TryingToBeHelpful About $84
have the older version sold in Israeli phone stores (without touch screen or camera) pretty easy phone to use though i don't think there's T9 which makes texting a drop difficult, could be the newer version from FIG has it....
It does
Apps4Flip-Admin How about service compatibility with the Ali one? The meushar one is very weak. (only Att)
THe meusher one is actually better in terms of service. Att postpaid will not work with the ali one, they will kick you off. Only with MNVO
Mike Do you know if it works with Cricket? It's owned by AT&T so I'm not sure if it will be like mvno regarding this.
Does anyone know if I order the phone from AliExpress, if TAG or a/o would be able to filter it?
it arriginates from here
https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=AS_20220120063218&SearchText=f21+pro
its basicaly a regular smartphone but switched the software like safe-cell and others do to filter a smartphone....
it just looks more kosher because it has buttons.
i believe that there isn't a SD card slot...
Ace How is the Network compatibility of the original (non-kosher) one? The FIG only seems to work decently on AT&T but is somewhat compatible with verizon on pre-activated sim, and T-Mobile but with poor reception. Is yours the same?
I just got the Qin f21 Pro+ from AliExpress. I am currently on Verizon Prepaid and it's not working when I switch my sim. Does anyone know which service would work with this?
Also, how would I download apps?
Thank you.
had anyone compared the call and speaker sound quality between
Kosher Full Keyboard 4G QIN FIG
and
F1 Orchid by sunbeam
or and
uni punkt kosher ?
I ordered this https://m.alibaba.com/product/1600341938159/Cracked-version-touch-screen-of-the.html?__sceneInfo=%7B%22cacheTime%22%3A%221800000%22%2C%22type%22%3A%22appDetailShare%22%7D&from=Android and got today after waiting more than a month and it's not working with TracFone service when changing sim card it worked for a minute then it says an eror message when calling that they have detected that I'm not using the device that the phone was activated in
a-one Yes, tracfone only allows specific IMEIs... but why stick with tracfone anyway?
Can you explain what they mean by "cracked version of the kosher software"? Is it kosher? how is it different than buying the stock android one?
Flippy i don't know how kosher it is. Before i baught it they told me that there is a kosher software that could be downloaded on it for free but I didn't found it how to download it so I'm going to ask them
star Qin fig definitely the worst/lowest
Sunbeam F1 is usually loud and clear, and rated better than the Punkt in this
https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/sunbeam-f1 review
See chart: "Unlocked Voice Phone Volume Comparison"
https://ibb.co/DQ4PfMx
a-one Just curious, what did they respond? Or did they?
as well durability and resistance to get break by falls by humidify ;
punkt is done by a swiss company known for doing quality
can any one come in with experienced both the punkt and the sunbeam ??
or may have a relative or friend who did ?
I know someone who has the fig kosher phone, he was using it with Pure Talk (an AT&T mvno), it suddenly stopped working last week, it just says "no service". @MXRJR mentioned that AT&T stopped supporting these phones, would that affect the mvnos also, or would anyone know what else the issue might be?
Flippy Oh wow, thats bad if all ATT mvnos only work on ATT phones. Would you recommend getting a verizon mvno for this phone or it will also end up being unsupported when they do their 4g switch, and its best just to get another phone?
Techgen Verizon has a bunch of issues on the fig, ranging from not accepting the imei, intermittently disconnecting from the network and poor service in some areas. verizon's 3g shutdown should NOT affect this phone as it is not a CDMA phone, but verizon can choose to shut it anyway because it is not a supported IMEI. Best bet with this phone (if you are already stuck with it...) is T-mobile, albeit with poorer than normal reception in many areas
Flippy I guess we can't expect FIG to refund all the phones...
Is T-mobile worse on these phones, or you're just saying they have bad coverage in some areas like all T-mobile phones?
Worse than other T-Mobile phones...
And why shouldn't they refund all phones?
Jumptoheaven they told me that I could to download from the play store a filter, and i asked them if they don't have a built in kosher software, so they said that this software is custom and only if i make a bulk order, that's what fig did he made a bulk order and they made a custom kosher software for him.
I downloaded from the play store the netspark filter, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=con.netspark.mobile and it crashed the phone so i turned of the phone and when i turned on the phone i got an eror that the system ui has stopped and had a black screen and wasn't able to do anything with it but i was still able to connect it to ADB so i uninstalled the netspark filter but it didn't help me and it still said that the system UI has stopped so i made adb reboot recovery and i got to the menu to reset it and i reset the phone then it was in chinnese so i followed a video to change it to English and then i got an error that the Google play store is not certified and I couldn't install any apps so i chat with them and they gave me instructions how to add back Google service and now I'm looking for a filter that could block the internet
So if someone wants to install the netspark filter on this phone should know that it could damage the phone and I was luckely able to remove it and not always will be a way to remove it if the phone has a black screen
a-one wow! You had some experience.
would you be able to share with me the instructions to add back the google service.
Thank you so much!
techy Or if possible, would you post the steps here? otherwise I will provide my email too, thanks
a-one Please post the insructions here in a new thread if possible, these kind of guides can be really helpful to people.
Flippy Ok thanks for the info. I just figured they won't be able to afford to refund all their phones, and its not technichally their fault, I guess it doesn't hurt to try. Thankfully I myself have the xp3 which is still approved. I noticed that the sunbeam orchid is not on the list, does that mean that those stopped working with ATT also?
Techgen I don't think they CAN refund, But I definitely think they SHOULD, based on the fact that they were selling it primarily as an AT&T phone, (as it has issues with all other networks), they were aware of the impending problem when it was released, and told all their customers not to worry and that they won't have an issue, even when AT&T was calling (alarm bells ringing?...) those customers and warning them that the phone won't be supported...
As for the Sunbeam, for some reason it is the only phone AFAIK that is still working even though its not on the list. They probably just didn't make a fully comprehensive list, and in reality, the Sunbeam is Volte, so it makes sense that it works.
Apps4Flip-Admin 1.Open the Google certification page https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/ in a browser on a PC in one tab , and a converter from hex values to decimal in another tab https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/hex-to-decimal.html
- Device ID shows the two values we need: Android Device ID and Google Service Framework (GSF). We convert these values to decimal and copy the result from the Decimal Number field. We register the copied number on the google certification page. Both values (Android Device ID and Google Service Framework (GSF)) must be registered.
- We clean the caches of Google play services and play store. We reboot the phone.
- As a result, you get completely working Google services.
a-one this Will only work if you have already installed Google services and your eror looks like this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LrzgtGnrij-rRgWM8dpl__GiwS9p5-RB/view?usp=drivesdk
