I am having trouble getting waze to work. Every time I open it says uh oh no gps and asks to allow location. I enabled location on the settings and reinstalled the app and still not working

I realized I never uninstalled the app just deleted the file... now its working but sometimes voice doesnt work and also only recognizes full address's but not names of places for example evergreen lakewood etc....
I don't know how to use adb can you give me quick crash course? I would love to be able to download voice access too and dont know how to use adb

klugs613 use the navigation launcher from kosher apps for flip. You won't need an exact address.

Best press the top right button and then end

Best if your using a lg exalt then close the phone and close the app from recents
if your using a kyocera phone then close the phone and then open button mapper and map a button to be recents and close the app from recents
or shut down your phone and turn it back on

I have a LG Classic Flip and am very happy to have Waze on it, however when it's giving the directions it has the next turn notification which blocks the vehicle on the map, is there any way to make the font smaller?

goodtobeajew You can check what I posted a while ago by the Sonim about changing the dpi, It will affect the whole phone, not just waze, so you'll have to see if it works for you

lgexalter1 I have this same problem of no gps connectivity on waze on the exalt. Google maps doesn't either work. Notifications says finding location but never finds it! And yes, I allowed Location in settings before installing. Please help me!

Anyone know why Exalt can never find location? It says "finding location" in notifications when Waze is running, but never finds it. (It stops looking for the location when I turn Waze off.

hebersph Sometimes that happens if location was not turned on in the settings before waze was installed, try uninstalling Waze and reinstalling. (Installing with adb with the -g flag might help)

{Kyocera Cadence] I am having issue with GPS location on waze (and google maps). Its not saying UH-OH, (because all permissions are set correctly) The problem is it just keeps searching and never finds it. I have done many phones so dont think its an app issue, more like a defective phone. Would it be a software or harware issue? Any ideas?

Waze - The famous navigation app!

First make sure you have the waze launch app (directly above) installed. You will use that app to enter an address for waze to navigate to!
Waze works great on flip phones, just follow the directions in app to get started.
Please note if installing this on a LG Classic, you should turn on the phones location setting before installing the app!>!!<

I also see that a lot of people don't know why you remove certain things that they post if it's possible can you start emailing the email on file for the account or let them know some way why it was removed because from my observation it seems that most people (including me) here don't mean to break the rules or post something that you don't want up and if you would tell them they would know for the future

I assume because the app had in-app browser. Apps4Flip has a strict policy agianst embedded brosers...

If you cannot figure this out on your own you should not be posting apps. As much as all input is appreciated here, the potential bad of posting a non kosher app outweighs the good. So in the future please make sure your app is kosher before posting it
