lgexalter1 trying to use scrcpy to put in the verification code but it's not starting on webadb.com I know others have had this issue in the past, any ideas? I tried downloading scrcpy from the odds 'n ends section on apps4flip.com but my computer thinks it's a virus @apps4flip is there a link you can post to download scrcpy? thanks
Thanks and thanks for Signal, I find it works very good on the exalt, I don't even have to use Voice access to often.
did anyone try it on the classic?
I'm unable to set it up also with scrcpy (I used it successfully on my phone) I can only tap on the same thing what I am able to tap with my phone
lgexalter1 I'm unable to tap on the boxes to enter the code
lgexalter1 thanks
lgexalter1 yes
but y did I got a notification with the signal icon
lgexalter1 Does it work on the Sonim XP3?
So I have Signal downloaded and installed onto my classic flip ( I have a cursor installed and scrpy) though I am unable to use it as I cannot send verification text because the phone gives an error message that it is "unable to connect to service. Please check network connection and try again."
I have tried mobile data on and off, wifi on and off etc. I also am using the apps for flip launcher fyi Any ideas on how to resolve this?
Thanks!
YEG Can someone tell me what are the advantages of signal?
It's endpoint to endpoint encryption for SMSand MMS messaging where the Signal server supposedly does not have access to the message nor the encryption value.
I say supposedly because:
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/13/feds-say-they-used-encrypted-messages-to-charge-oath-keepers-leader.html
Encryption scrambles messages for recipients so that no one else — not even the platform itself — can read them.
It’s not clear how investigators gained access to the messages
Hi. Can someone provide the updated app? I wasn't sure if this one is able, but I know the self-downloaded APK on normal Android has its own internal updater, and eventually stops working unless you do. Thanks!
Also for those having trouble with the initial setup, I've read if you set Signal as the default SMS app before launching it first, it should be able to simply read the incoming confirmation code & apply it.
