I just got the schok flip phone, started to try and install some apps4flip, started with the weather app, which I seemingly successfully installed via Bluetooth, however,when I open the app, it says "can't connect to server"? Im definitely connected to WiFi. Any ideas?

I bought mine straight from tag and I have some preinstalled apps but I just bought another one unfiltered and so far 2048 has worked
it may be a problem with the internet but you can try and delete it and retry
How did you install, through adb? Or Bluetooth?

@wanttoworkfortag @TryingToBeHelpful look like theres a bit of confusion here, i have two different problems, A)my weather app isnt working, because its not "connecting to server" and B)theres no way to turn off wifi. I actually found out that there is a way, by going into the Lock Control (parental control) settings. Which is kind of dumb, because i cant access the Lock Control settings because i had someone put a pin on it in order to block the browser. Now regarding my first problem, my home wifi is working, so thats not the problem.

@Flippy Im updated to the latest software. Im using WiFi. I tried a bunch of weather apps, a lot had the same issue, but not all. Weird.
@wanttoworkfortag I want to be able shut wifi when im not using it for a few reasons. It uses battery. It uses space on the top of the screen(notification bar). And whenever im barely in range of wifi, i keep getting screen pop-ups whenever i connect or disconnect from WiFi. Annoying.
@wanttoworkfortag would voice access work if i already have a mouse?

@TryingToBeHelpful Turns out you were right! A button on my phone-(the multi function button) stopped working. So i reset the phone, after which I tried the weather app and it worked!
Anyone know why my multifunction button stopped working? Is there any specific app that might have caused it? After reset, the button is working...

The protonmail app is meant for opening a protonmail account not other accounts, the Gmail app is not going to work because it needs Google Play services like most other Google apps, you'll have better luck using a third-party app that opens other accounts such as Aquamail there are many other options but I've tried a bunch and Aquamail worked the best for me. (Sonim xp3)

Techgen It actually sorta does have a play store but its hidden.... (maybe an update removed it) It has limited apps
Hello, Ive got a schok classic. Installed a few apps on it.
The only one I've got tow work were the weather app and the quick office and zmanim
Uber loads, but doesn't respond and is stuck at the first screen
The launcher doesn't open
The google maps doesn't appear anywhere after being installed
Any eitzos?
@Mongol you dont need a launcher, installed apps appear when you click ok from home screen and scroll down. Maps doesn't work on schok.(unless somebody knows how to fix)
I have a schok phone with a few apps and they work well. But 2048 and weather suddenly stopped working for me one day (the same day?. Other apps like waze and anddaven still work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling them to no avail. Any ideas?
