Kgr oh. yeah. maybe by removing android.permission.internet from the manifest, but I have a feeling the app wont run if you do that

Biden2020prez If im removing internet capabilities from gboard, voice control, suggested words, possibly swipe, all wont work as they require internet.

Kgr Good point.

Not sure how tag does it. maybe they block the url that hosts them...

Ok i figured it out, i used pcap and when i opened gifs, i found the log with the link, media.tenor.com
Now what?

Kgr Well, you would need to use a vpn or something else to block that url

Biden2020prez You have any recommendations? Also is there a way to block URL without a vpn that has to constantly be running?

Biden2020prez Thanks
Also i have a rooted galaxy folder 2, with root how can i block a url?

Techgen

Biden2020prez BTW the F30 uses the host file to block a lot of things

Techgen Like what? I think many chinese phones block certain things that they don't want chinese people to access. Sometimes they block Google Services or certain websites.
